Many legends and myths have been created about the mysterious and enchanting moon. This dreamy artwork brings together three such legends: Selene, the Greek goddess of the Moon with her two horses that pull her chariot; Chang'e, the Chinese goddess of the Moon with her rabbit (who brought another friend!); and Kaguya-hime, a Japanese princess from the Moon as she reads a letter from her lover on Earth, who ordered his men to burn it at the top of the mountain closest to Heaven, in hopes that it would reach her.
